FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Helen M. Sisco, of Fair Lawn, died Saturday, June 25. She was 82.
Born in Jersey City, she was raised in Union City prior to settling in Fair Lawn 52 years ago. She was an active member of the Fair Lawn Bible Church, serving as its librarian for many years. An avid reader, she will be remembered best for her love of family and friends. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a bookkeeper for various companies throughout her life.
She was the wife of Roy R. Sisco; mother of Donna Schlett and her husband, William, Dorothy Calie and her husband, Robert, and Robert Sisco and his wife, Sara; and grandmother of Amanda Calie, Rachel and Alyssa Schlett and Jacob Sisco.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. A funeral service is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Fair Lawn Bible Church, 11-09 Hopper Ave., Fair Lawn 07410.
